Harold Penner – Real Estate Broker
After completing his Master's of Divinity in 1976, Harold served as the pastor of several small churches in British Columbia and Fresno, California. In 1989, Harold made the decision to pursue his other passion of finance and real estate.
Harold has steadily built his business and today is consistently ranked as one of the top five agents in Fresno County. Producing over $25 million in sales annually, Harold guides his team of agents and assistants to provide the highest level of expertise and client care possible.
In addition to his real estate license (DRE # 01042080), Harold has earned his broker license and the GRI designation. In 2007, Harold was honored as the Top Sales Agent for Guarantee Real Estate with nearly $30 million in sales.
Jesse Penner – Real Estate Agent
Working as a junior agent for Harold Penner, Jesse is adept at handling all aspects of the buying and selling process. Earning his Real Estate License in 2000 (DRE # 01296623), Jesse assists Harold in providing superior client communication and expertise during the purchasing and selling process.
In addition to property management and real estate investment experience, Jesse attended California State University, Fresno earning a B.A. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. Following in his father's footsteps, Jesse also earned a Masters of Divinity from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary.
Cherie Smittcamp – Real Estate Agent
Cherie Smittcamp joined the Penner Team in 2002 shortly after graduating from California State University, Fresno. Cherie progressively gained experience in all aspects of the real estate process working first as a Listing Coordinator and then Escrow Coordinator. Cherie excels at client care and communication. Earning her Real Estate License in 2008, Cherie continues to support the Penner Team. Cherie lives in Clovis with her husband Blake and daughter Aubrey.
Christy Quaresma – Marketing Manager
Christy Quaresma manages the office and all marketing campaigns for the Penner Team. Christy earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from CSU Long Beach and a masters degree in Communications from CSU Fresno in 2003. Prior to joining the Penner Team, Christy taught college level communication courses in addition to managing marketing projects for the homebuilder Fitzpatrick Homes and the Almond Board of California.
Christina Joy (C.J.) Nuckles – Escrow and Short Sale Coordinator
C.J. Nuckles is the primary contact for clients during the escrow of their home. C.J. daily manages the deadlines for lenders, title officers and clients in order to bring a successful close to the client’s home. In addition, C.J. is adept at the stages of the short sale process and manages the files for all current short sale properties.
C.J. grew up in the Clovis area and worked in retail sales, property management and new home construction sales prior to joining the Penner Team in 2007. She earned her real estate license (DRE# 01772815) in 2006. C.J. is a third-generation realtor who thrives in this fast-paced business.
Ruth Showerman – Listing Coordinator
Ruth Showerman manages the advertising, open houses, inspections and files for all available listings. She ensures that our clients remain updated on all aspects of the listing process.
Ruth grew up on a cherry farm in Ripon, California and moved to Fresno in 2007 with her husband Mike. Ruth graduated with a degree in History from Master’s College in Santa Clarita, California.
